BTS Extend Pop Songs Chart Record With Debut Of ‘Make It Right’ With Lauv

BTS notches its fifth entry, extending its record for the most among K-pop acts in the history of Billboard‘s Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as “Make It Right,” featuring Lauv, debuts at No. 39 on the list dated Nov. 16.

The song was first released solely by BTS on the group’s album Map of the Soul: Persona, which debuted in April as the act’s third, and most recent, No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The new Lauv version arrived Nov. 1.

BTS first hit Pop Songs with “Mic Drop,” featuring Desiigner (and remixed by Steve Aoki), which rose to No. 25 in January 2018. “Fake Love” followed, peaking at No. 34 in July 2018, while Aoki’s “Waste It on Me,” featuring BTS, reached No. 38 last December. This May, the group achieved its highest rank on the survey when “Boy With Luv,” featuring Halsey, climbed to No. 22. “Boy” was released as the first single from Map of the Soul: Persona.
